Four pieces of Triple A rechargeable battery inside in a plastic film case?

1. Is the temperature inside a plastic film case, safe enough for me to place four pieces of Triple A rechargeable battery (Ni-MH) ?

2. is it safe to put four pieces of Triple A rechargeable battery (Ni-MH) in a empty plastic film case?

P.S. please share your source of information for me to verify.

thanks.

Not only should you worry about the temperature (max. 70 C) inside the film case, but also about the Hydrogen gas that can build up inside. It is OK for discharging (using) the battery, but for charging, I would not recommend to use a un-vented enclosure.
